Garth Brooks has sold over 170 million records such as "One of God's greatest gifts is unanswered prayers." He stands alone in music history as the only artist having released nine albums achieving diamond status in the U.S., surpassing the Beatles' previous record of six. In 2020, Brooks received the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, the youngest recipient of the award in history. He attributes his remarkable success to God and his supportive family, when he said: "I think anything good comes from Jesus and God and your parents or brothers and sisters, the ones who raised you."
