Henry Ford

By revolutionizing the car manufacturing process, Henry Ford took charge and created a new market, providing the first automobiles that middle class Americans could afford. He eventually became one of the world's first billionaires. Born into a farming family, Ford left home at the tender age of 16 to work in Detroit, where he later became an engine mechanic. He founded Ford Motor Company in 1903, after several prior business failures. Despite his spectacular business success, Henry knew who was really in charge all along: "I believe God is managing affairs and that He doesn't need any advice from me.
