Jim Townsend

Jim Townsend experienced the tragic loss of his mother who died when he was just 12 years old. His father then sent him to an orphanage, where after caught stealing, was returned home. At age 19, Jim married Alice who became pregnant with twins. Later, consumed in an evil rage, Jim shot and killed his pregnant wife and their twins with a rifle. He was sentenced to life in prison. During his 20 year stay in prison, Jim befriended a Franciscan priest who helped him turn his life around. After his release, Jim worked in a school and eventually became a Brother as a Capuchin friar. Jim died in 2011...Can God forgive someone who murdered his wife and twin children?
