Jonathan I. Lunine (PhD)

Dr. Jonathan Lunine is a planetary scientist and physicist teaching at Cornell University. He has published more than 380 research papers and is at the forefront of research into planet formation. Dr. Lunine is also visiting scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He was raised Jewish, but is a convert to Catholicism. He helped found the Society of Catholic Scientists. Dr. Lunine enjoys discussing the intersection between faith and science when he stated: "There's a big difference between determining the structure of universe and how it evolved in time, vs. why is there existence, why is there anything. That's a question that some scientists confuse."
