Kat Von D

Katherine von Drachenberg, professionally known as Kat Von D, is a tattoo artist, television personality, and recording artist. She gained widespread recognition for her work as a tattoo artist on the TLC reality television show LA Ink. Kat began listening to punk rock bands at the age of 12, got her first tattoo at 14 and left school at age 16 to pursue a career as a tattoo artist. Von D rose to prominence as a tattoo artist through reality television, first gaining attention on the TLC series Miami Ink, and later starring in her own spin-off show, LA Ink. During her rise to fame, she struggled with alcoholism and eventually turned to witchcraft, However, she later admitted that practicing witchcraft left her feeling "miserable." In July, 2022, Kat Von D, publicly announced her commitment to Christianity, rejecting witchcraft and the occult, stating, She explained her decision stating, "It's never been more clear to me that there is a spiritual battle taking place, and I want to surround myself and my family with love and light." In October 2023, she publicly shared a video of her baptism symbolizing her dedication to her new found role to play in the Christian Story.
