Leonardo Da Vinci

While Da Vinci did not often articulate his views on the Christian faith, his artwork served as his voice. In particular, his various religious renderings of Mary and the Last Supper offer an expression of his understanding of Christianity, which occasionally clashed with the expectations of the Catholic Church in Rome.
