Ludwig van Beethoven

Beethoven is widely regarded as one of the most admired composers and pianist in the history of western classical music. Similar to how Dr. Francis Collins, former Director of the U.S. National Institutes of Health, referred to the biological structure of DNA as the language of God, Beethoven expressed a similar parallel with music. "The vibrations on the air are the breath of God speaking to man's soul. Music is the language of God. We musicians are as close to God as man can be. We hear his voice, we read his lips, we give birth to the children of God, who sing his praise." Like some of us, do you feel the presence of God when listening to Beethoven's symphonies?
