Patricia Heaton

Patricia Heaton is an American actress best known for portraying women in sitcoms including Everybody Loves Raymond and The Middle. After her divorce from her first husband, she underwent a period of spiritual turmoil she referred to as a "Protestant wilderness". When her first marriage was annulled by the Catholic Church, she returned to being a practicing Catholic. "I have to keep reminding myself: If you give your life to God, he doesn't promise you happiness and that everything will go well. But he does promise you peace."
